This Privacy Policy explains how Pitside, operated by Pitside LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account data: your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Profile data: for Creators, your display name, subtitle, bio, discipline, region, and any avatar or banner images you upload.
• Content: posts, comments, and likes you create on the Platform.
• Communications: messages you send us for support.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data: such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you reached the Platform (for example, a referring site or campaign link).
• Cookies: we use cookies to run the Platform and for first-party analytics - see our Cookie Policy.

Payment information

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card number. Stripe collects the information needed to process payments and, for Creators, to verify identity and send payouts; that information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive limited details such as payment status, the last four digits of a card, and subscription identifiers.

2. How We Use Information

• to create and manage your account and authenticate you;
• to operate subscriptions, process payments, and deliver Creator content to entitled Supporters;
• to send transactional messages (confirmations, receipts, notifications) and, where you allow it, other updates;
• to maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug problems;
• to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Platform:

• Payment processing: with Stripe, to process payments and payouts.
• Service providers: with vendors who host our infrastructure, deliver email, and help us monitor errors (for example, our email delivery provider and error-tracking service), under obligations of confidentiality.
• Other users: your public profile and content are visible to other users as the Platform is designed to work (for example, a Creator profile and public posts).
• Legal reasons: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Platform.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. We may retain certain records (for example, payment and transaction history) for longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which removes your personal data subject to the retention needs described above. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Transfers

We and our service providers may process your information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
